Missing home

On a more personal note, I should add that Amy is missing home very much, and so far living here has not been the easiest transition. People are not very nice (some are downright rude), traffic and roads are awful, until today not a single friend has called her, her work is frustrating and poorly run, and I am about to start my classes. So, suffice it to say, life for Amy is not peachy at the moment. I am sure she would appreciate your encouragement.

I tried calling her, but she didn't answer. You know, she does have a phone, too, and they do work both ways.

David, tell Amy this for me:
Oh Amy, that's hard. Leaving home for the first time is hard any way you go -- it takes a long time to even feel "yourself" without the people and places that have formed you up till now. Your friends may just be giving you time to move in - who knows? I'll pray that God comfort you in this time of change and loneliness, and that he give you many friends in due time.
