Christian civics

A contributor to the Catholic blog Theology of the Body has written an excellent post on “Seven Principles for the Formation of Christian Americans” entitled “Christian Civics 101.” In this post, MM addresses basic areas of American civics by turning to the creed. The result is a wonderful antidote to a depoliticized gospel which swears allegiance to the flag rather than Jesus Christ. Those who find the work of William Cavanaugh stimulating will find this post refreshing.
